Advanced Settings mainly includes rate set configuration, bill resources, secondary pricing policies, exchange rates, bill configuration, and product category maintenance.
Advanced Settings configures cost-related basics, including:
- “Rate set configuration”: manage unit prices and application scope for local IDC / private cloud resources.
- “Bill resources”: view bill-side resource instances and manage resource tags and project ownership.
- “Secondary pricing”: configure global or resource-level secondary pricing policies.
- “Exchange rates”: maintain exchange rates for multi-currency bills.
- “Bill configuration”: configure global items such as bill resource types.
- “Product category maintenance”: view the product category dictionary and maintain product mappings.
Bill Resources
Bill Resources provides a unified view of bill-side resource instances and manages resource tags and project attribution.
Secondary Pricing Policies
Secondary pricing policies reprice original bills according to configured rules.
Exchange Rate Configuration
Exchange Rate Configuration shows monthly currency exchange rates and supports editing rates for a given effective month.
Bill Configuration
Bill Configuration sets resource types to exclude from bill statistics so unrelated products are not counted.
Product Category Maintenance
Product Category Maintenance maintains the product category dictionary and mappings from cloud products/usage types to categories.
