Note
Viewing and performing authorization operations are supported only in the Admin Console view.
View license status
- Click the
icon in the upper-right corner, select “About” from the drop-down menu, and open the About page. - View license information: View the current cloud management platform license information and perform License authorization. For details on License authorization, see License Authorization.
- Authorized user: The user name who applied for and authorized the License. The applicant must have Admin Console permissions.
- Expiration time: The validity period of the License file. After it expires, you must reapply for a License file and complete authorization.
Note
- Trial edition reminds users 7 days before the License expires.
- Commercial edition reminds users one month before the License expires.
- Authorized CPU count: The total number of host CPU sockets supported by the cloud management platform.
- Current quota used: The number of host CPUs currently used by the cloud management platform.
- Server ID: The unique identifier of the server where the cloud management platform is installed, used to apply for a License file.
- Issued at: The issuance time of the License file.
- View license usage: View the License usage rates for the current user’s private cloud license and cloud management license. Refreshed hourly by default; supports immediate refresh for the latest usage rates.
- Status: Includes Normal, Warning, and Disabled.
- Normal: When any License usage rate is between 0% and 100%, the status is Normal.
- Warning: When any License usage rate is between 101% and 110%, the status is Warning, and the top bar prompts the user to apply for a new License.
- Disabled: When any License usage rate exceeds 110%, most OneCloud platform features are disabled. Only disable, delete, and update License operations remain available. Users can restore availability by applying for a new License, or by disabling hosts or deleting public cloud VMs.
- Used: Shows the number of private cloud licenses and cloud management licenses already used on the platform. You can view detailed License usage.
- Status: Includes Normal, Warning, and Disabled.
Note
The number of cloud management licenses used by public cloud VMs is the minimum of the average number of running VMs over the past 7 days and the current number of running VMs. If runtime is less than 7 days, the average is calculated over the longest available runtime.
- Authorized count: Shows the number of private cloud licenses and cloud management licenses available to the user. Overuse of up to 10% is allowed; values under 1 are rounded up.
- Usage rate: Shows the usage rates of private cloud licenses and cloud management licenses. Authorization status is determined by usage rate.
View version information
This feature is used to view product version information and perform version upgrades when a new version is available.
- Click the
icon in the upper-right corner, select “About” from the drop-down menu, and open the About page. - View version information:
- Current product: Displays the product name.
- Software version: Displays the current product software version.
- View component versions and service status: Click the “Component versions and service status” link to open a dialog showing each component’s version and service status for quick troubleshooting.
- Upgrade history: Click the “Upgrade history” link to open a dialog showing the previous version, upgraded version, and upgrade time, with support for rolling back to the previous version.
- Support: If you need to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition or upgrade the product version, contact us via the support email address, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
- Vendor information: The product vendor information; cannot be changed.
