Docs: Create Kingsoft Cloud Account

Procedure

On the Cloud Accounts page, click “Create” above the list.
Select Kingsoft Cloud, then click “Next: Configure cloud account”.
Configure:
- Name: Kingsoft Cloud platform name.
- Key ID / Password: connect with Access Key. See How to get Kingsoft Cloud parameters.
- Common parameters: see Common configuration parameters.
Click “Connection test” to verify parameters.
After a successful test, click “Next: Configure sync regions” (default: all regions).
Click “Next: Bill file access (optional)” to configure billing parameters.
Configure scheduled sync (optional), then click “OK” to create the Kingsoft Cloud account.

If the Kingsoft Cloud account is new, enable object storage on Kingsoft Cloud first.

Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console with the primary account, open personal info in the upper right, then click “Access Keys”.
Click “Create key”, then “Continue” in the risk warning dialog. Kingsoft Cloud sends a verification code to the account contact’s phone. After verification, the key dialog appears.

Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console, open “Billing” → “Account overview”.
Click “Set bill data storage”.
Note the billing-item detail bill bucket name. If unset, subscribe to a bucket on this page. Kingsoft Cloud requires a KS3 directory (custom input).
In Object Storage, open the bucket overview; the bucket domain is the bucket URL. When entering it in the cloud management platform, include the directory as well.
