&lt;h2 id="view-monitoring-information"&gt;View monitoring information&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;View monitoring information for a VM and set alerts based on the monitoring data.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On the VMs page, click the VM name to open the VM details page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Monitoring&amp;rdquo; tab to open the monitoring page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;By default you can view the following monitoring information:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Basic monitoring&lt;/strong&gt;: Monitoring information collected by default.
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supports viewing performance monitoring for the last 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 week, and 1 month.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supports setting time granularity; available granularity depends on the selected duration.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supports aggregation function filters; aggregation functions include minimum, maximum, and average.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Metrics include CPU usage, memory usage, network inbound traffic, network outbound traffic, disk usage, disk read rate, and disk write rate. Memory usage and disk usage require the Agent to be installed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Agent monitoring&lt;/strong&gt;: Monitoring information collected after the Agent is installed on the VM; includes the disk usage metric in addition to basic monitoring. Compared with basic monitoring, Agent monitoring provides more accurate data.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;h2 id="install-agent"&gt;Install Agent&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Install the monitoring Agent on a VM.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id="prerequisites"&gt;Prerequisites&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The VM runs a Linux or x86 Windows operating system;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;x86 Windows VMs must be in the stopped state; Linux VMs have no status restriction;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;VMs in a OneCloud platform VPC can install the Agent directly; non-OneCloud platform VMs require an SSH proxy node in the VPC or IP subnet;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The VM must allow passwordless login from the platform;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;VMs started from ISO do not support installing the monitoring Agent&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h3 id="steps"&gt;Steps&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On the VMs page, click the VM name to open the VM details page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Monitoring&amp;rdquo; tab to open the monitoring page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Install Agent&amp;rdquo; button. The Install Agent dialog appears.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The platform starts probing the passwordless login status of the VM.
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When the VM allows passwordless login, click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button to install the Agent.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When the VM does not allow passwordless login, set passwordless login first. Click the &amp;ldquo;View&amp;rdquo; button in the Actions column of the list to see the specific reason why passwordless login probing failed.
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;If the error reason mentions &amp;ldquo;none publickey&amp;rdquo;, use Set passwordless login to configure passwordless login for the VM. Configuration parameters for setting passwordless login:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Method&lt;/strong&gt;: Upload the platform public key to the VM using a key, password, or script.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When the method is &amp;ldquo;Key&amp;rdquo;, use the root user or a user with passwordless sudo privileges and its private key. Ensure you can connect to the VM via SSH with the username and private key, then click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button to start setting and probe whether passwordless login succeeds.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When the method is &amp;ldquo;Password&amp;rdquo;, use the root user or a user with passwordless sudo privileges and its password. Ensure you can connect to the VM via SSH with the username and password. Click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button to start setting and probe whether passwordless login succeeds.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When the method is &amp;ldquo;Script&amp;rdquo;, run the provided script on the VM as root or a user with sudo privileges. After execution completes, click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button to start setting and probe whether passwordless login succeeds.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;If the error reason mentions &amp;ldquo;network error&amp;rdquo;, go back and select another VM, or make the VM reachable from the platform by binding an EIP or using a NAT gateway.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When Agent installation fails, move the mouse over &amp;ldquo;Installation failed, try again&amp;rdquo; to see the specific failure reason.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;h2 id="alert-settings"&gt;Alert settings&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Set alerts for VM monitoring metrics. When alert conditions are exceeded, alert recipients are notified by email.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On the VMs page, click the VM name to open the VM details page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Alerts&amp;rdquo; tab to open the alerts page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You can manage alerts as follows:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Create alert&lt;/strong&gt;: Create multiple alert conditions as needed.
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Create&amp;rdquo; button above the list. The Create Alert dialog appears.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Metric&lt;/strong&gt;: Set alert conditions for parameters such as CPU usage, memory utilization, network inbound traffic, network outbound traffic, disk read rate, and disk write rate.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Query period&lt;/strong&gt;: Set the period for querying alert conditions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Comparison operator and threshold&lt;/strong&gt;: Set the threshold for the alert condition. When VM monitoring metric data exceeds or falls below the threshold, an alert is triggered.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Alert level&lt;/strong&gt;: Includes normal, important, and fatal.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Alert method&lt;/strong&gt;: Currently only email alerts are supported.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Alert recipients&lt;/strong&gt;: You can select users in the same project, or users with the domain administrator or system administrator role.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;After configuration, click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Modify alert&lt;/strong&gt;: All parameters except the metric can be modified.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Delete alert&lt;/strong&gt;: Supports deleting a single alert condition or batch deleting alert conditions.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;h2 id="scheduled-tasks"&gt;Scheduled tasks&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Create scheduled tasks for starting, stopping, restarting, and syncing VMs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On the VMs page, click the VM name to open the VM details page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;Scheduled Tasks&amp;rdquo; tab to open the scheduled tasks page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Configure the following parameters:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Specify project&lt;/strong&gt;: Administrators and domain administrators must specify the project that the scheduled task belongs to when creating a scheduled task.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Name&lt;/strong&gt;: Set the name of the scheduled task.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Notes&lt;/strong&gt;: Set notes for the scheduled task.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Trigger frequency&lt;/strong&gt;: Supports Once, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When &amp;ldquo;Once&amp;rdquo; is selected, set the specific trigger time.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When &amp;ldquo;Daily&amp;rdquo; is selected, set the specific trigger time each day and set the valid period. The scheduled task takes effect within the valid period.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When &amp;ldquo;Weekly&amp;rdquo; is selected, choose the trigger day of the week and trigger time, and set the valid period. The scheduled task takes effect within the valid period.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;When &amp;ldquo;Monthly&amp;rdquo; is selected, choose the specific trigger date and trigger time, and set the valid period. The scheduled task takes effect within the valid period.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Resource type&lt;/strong&gt;: Currently only VMs are supported.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Action&lt;/strong&gt;: Currently only Start, Stop, Restart, and Sync are supported.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Associated resources&lt;/strong&gt;: Select the VMs on which to run the scheduled task. Click the input box, select VMs in the dialog that appears, then click the &amp;ldquo;Select&amp;rdquo; button.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click the &amp;ldquo;OK&amp;rdquo; button to create the scheduled task.&lt;/li&gt;
