Servers Trash

The host trash is used to store servers and baremetal files deleted by users.

The host trash is used to store the servers and baremetal files deleted by users. The host files in the Trash are stored for 3 days by default, if any mistakenly deleted hosts need recovery operation within 3 days, they can be restored to their original location, after 3 days, the files will be completely deleted.

Entry: In the cloud management platform click the upper left corner navigation menu, and click “Compute/Trash/Servers” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the host trash list.

Purge

When you have determined that a host in the Trash is useless, you can use the purge function to completely delete the file immediately.

Clean individual hosts

  1. Click the “Purge” button to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Batch Purge Hosts

  1. Select one or more hosts in the host list and click the “Clear” button at the top of the list to bring up the operation confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Recovery

When the host has been deleted by mistake, you can use the recovery function in the Trash to restore it to its original location. Please make sure to recover the host within the valid period, if the host will not be recovered after the automatic erase time.

Restore a single host

  1. Click the “Restore” button to bring up the operation confirmation dialog.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Batch Restore Hosts

  1. Select one or more hosts in the host list, and click the “Restore” button at the top of the list to bring up the operation confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
