What features does billing measurement include?
- Overview: Display today’s consumption, this month’s consumption and consumption trend information of cloud management platform, and show the consumption percentage from the perspective of platform, cloud account, cloud subscription, resource, resource type, project, tag, region, and billing mode respectively.
- Cloud account: Display the cloud account status and balance information of cloud management platform nano-management, including the account balance status and consumption status of cloud account and reconciliation bill.
- Platform statistics: Shows consumption trends on different cloud platforms managed by the cloud management platform, and displays consumption percentages from the roles of cloud account, resource, resource type, project, region, and billing model.
- Multi-dimensional analysis: Support comprehensive analysis of consumption trends, total number of Servers, average price of Servers, and TOP 10 information of resource consumption under different conditions from the perspectives of platform, account, region, project, billing mode, time, and tags, etc.
- Resource Billing: Shows the billing records generated by using resources within a certain time frame.
- Flowing bill: A flowing bill records the detailed information of cloud account expenses. A running bill records the length of time a user has used a resource through the cloud account in a single day and the cost information generated, the maximum length of a running bill is 1 day.
- Rate configuration: Configure the unit price of the resource, i.e. the price of the specified specification resource in one day. Three types of virtual resource rates, baremetal server rates, and GPU card rates are supported.
- Optimization suggestions: Based on CPU utilization, network traffic and other monitoring indicators, calculate the servers in the environment that may have wasted resources, and give optimization suggestions to reduce the configuration, etc.
How to enable automatic import of bills to S3 in AWS?
Currently AWS China does not support getting bill details via API, you need to enable the automatic import of bills to S3 bucket periodically, and then pull bill csv from S for analysis.
AWS opening steps are as follows.
- Login to AWS “Billing&Cost Management” console with your main account.
- Select Billing preference.
- Check Receive Billing Reports, click “configure”, and select the target bucket.
- Save configuration.
