Used to configure the unit price of resources on On-premise and private cloud platform.

Rate Settings

The rate is used to configure the unit price of resources, i.e. the price of resources with specified specifications in a day. By configuring the rate you can effectively count the user billing information on the cloud management platform.

Rate Source.

  • Resource rates on public cloud platforms are determined by each vendor.
  • Resource rates on On-premise and private cloud platforms need to be specified by the administrator.

Entry: In the cloud management platform click on the top left corner of navigation menu, and click “Cost/Rates/Rate Settings” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the rate configuration page.

The rate on the cloud management platform mainly includes 3 parts: virtual resource rate, baremetal server rate and GPU card rate. Configure the rate information of different resources by switching the tab above.

  • Virtual resource rate: used to set the rate of relevant resources used by servers, such as CPU ($/core*day, i.e. the price of 1 core CPU per day), local disk ($/GB*day), cloud disk ($/GB*day), memory ($/GB*day), etc.
  • Baremetal server rate: used to set the rate information of the baremetal hosts managed on the cloud management platform (yuan/unit*day), the list includes the baremetal hosts brand, model, specifications and other information.
  • GPU card rates: Used to set the rates of GPU cards managed on the cloud management platform ($/card*day), the list includes the platform, brand and model of the GPU card, etc.

Refresh Resource Type

This function is used to refresh the resource type manually, when a new resource type is added, you can use this function to display the rate information of the corresponding resource type.

  1. Click the “Refresh Resource Type” button above the list to refresh the resource type manually.

Rate Management

View Histoty Rate

This function is used to view information about the resource’s historical rates, currently effective rates, and rates that are not in effect.

  1. Click the Resource Name item to go to the History Rate page.
  2. View the resource’s historical rates, current effective rates, and outstanding rates, etc.

Set new rate

This function is used to set the rate of the resource and the effective time of the rate.

  1. Click the Resource Name item to go to the History Rate page.
  2. Click the “Set New Rate” button at the top of the list to bring up the Set New Rate dialog box.
  3. Set the rate size and start date (the date when the rate takes effect), and click the “OK” button.

Modify Rate

This function is used to modify the “not yet effective” rate information, expired and effective rates do not support modification.

  1. Click the Resource Name item to go to the History Rate page.
  2. Click the “Modify” button on the right-hand column of the “Not in effect” rate to bring up the Set New Rate dialog box.
  3. Set the rate size and start date (the date when the rate is effective), and click “OK” button.

Delete Rate

This function is used to delete the “not yet effective” rate information, the expired and effective rates are not supported to be deleted.

  1. Click the Resource Name item to go to the History Rate page.
  2. Click the “Delete” button on the right column of the “Not in effect” status to bring up the confirmation dialog.
  3. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
