Rules

Rules that is, according to the conditions affecting the security of the resources in the system set the corresponding rules, such as the rules of the security group settings, etc. when the resources match the rules means that the security of the resources is low, the need for users to deal with, etc.

Entry: In the cloud management platform click the top left corner navigation menu, and click “Optimization/Security Inspection/Rules” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the rules page.

Modify

This function is used to modify the rules and currently only supports modifying the time range. The time range will affect the scan result, i.e. resources that are idle beyond the time range will only be scanned. Only the TimingServer type are supported for modification.

  1. On the rules page, click the “Modify” button on the right column of the rule to bring up the Modify Rule Configuration dialog box.
  2. Modify the time range and click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Enable

This function is used to enable the rules in the “disabled” state. Rules in the disabled state do not take effect.

Enable

  1. On the rules page, click the “Enable” button on the right column of the rule in the “Disabled” status to bring up the operation confirmation dialog.
  2. Click the “OK” button to enable the rule.

Batch Enable.

  1. Select one or more rules in the rule list, click the “Batch Action” button at the top of the list, and select the drop-down menu item “Enable” to bring up the Action Confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click the “OK” button to enable the rule.

Disable

This function is used to disable the rules in the “enabled” status, and the rules in the disabled status are not effective.

Disable

  1. On the rules page, click the “Disable” button in the action column to the right of the enabled rule to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Batch Disable

  1. Select one or more rules in the rule list, click the “Batch Action” button at the top of the list, and select the “Disable” menu item in the drop-down menu to bring up the action confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

View Rule Details

This function is used to view the details of a rule.

  1. On the rules page, click the rule name item to enter the rule details page.
  2. View the rule Cloud ID, ID, name, status, domain, item, enabled status, rule, last execution time, created at, updated at, and description.

View operation log

This function is used to view the log information of the rule-related operations.

  1. On the rules page, click the rule name item to enter the rule details page.
  2. Click the Operation Log tab to enter the Operation Log page.
    • Load More Logs: In the Operation Log page, the list shows 20 operation logs by default. To view more operation logs, please click the “Load More” button to get more logs.
    • View Log Details: Click the “View” button on the right column of the operation log to view the log details. Copy details are supported.
    • View logs of specified time period: If you want to view the operation logs of a certain time period, set the specific date in the start date and end date at the top right of the list to query the log information of the specified time period.
    • Export logs: Currently, only the logs displayed on this page are supported to be exported. Click the upper-right corner of icon, set the export data column in the pop-up export data dialog, and click the “OK” button to export the logs.
