Dynamic Tags

The dynamic tag is to dynamically bind the scheduler tag to the host before the resource is scheduled according to the set conditions.

The dynamic tags is to dynamically bind the scheduler tag for the host before resource scheduling according to the set conditions, and the tag bound for the host is not necessarily the same for each scheduling, so as to achieve flexible scheduling of resources.

Entry: In the cloud management platform, click the top left corner of navigation menu, and click “Compute/Scheduling/Dynamic Scheduler Tags” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the Dynamic Scheduler Tags page.

New dynamic tag

This function is used to set the conditions of dynamic tag and dynamically bind the scheduler tag for the hosts that meet the conditions of dynamic tag.

  1. On the Dynamic Scheduler Tag page, click the “New” button at the top of the list to bring up the New Dynamic Scheduler Tag dialog box.
  2. Set the name, select the scheduler tag, and set the conditions.
  3. Click the “OK” button to create the dynamic scheduling tab. Dynamically bind the scheduler tag for eligible hosts before scheduling (creating servers).

Enable Dynamic Scheduler Tags

This function is used to enable dynamic scheduler tags in the “disabled” state. Enabled dynamic tagss will dynamically bind the scheduler tags for eligible hosts before scheduling.

On the Dynamic Scheduler tab page, click the “Enable” button in the Dynamic Scheduler tab action bar in the “Disabled” state to disable the dynamic scheduler tab.

Disable Dynamic Scheduling Tab

This function is used to disable the dynamic scheduling tab in the “Enabled” state.

  1. On the Dynamic Scheduler tab page, click the “Disable” button in the Dynamic Scheduler tab action column of the “Enabled” status to enable the Dynamic Scheduler tab.

Modify Dynamic Scheduler Tag

This function is used to modify the dynamic tag and its conditions.

  1. On the Dynamic Dispatch Tag page, click the “More” button in the Dynamic Dispatch Tag action bar, and select the “Modify” menu item in the drop-down menu to bring up the Modify dialog box.
  2. Select the scheduler tag, set the conditions, and click the “OK” button.

Delete dynamic tag

This function is used to delete dynamic scheduler tags, and supports individual deletion or batch deletion.

Delete

  1. On the Dynamic Dispatch Tags page, click the “More” button in the Dynamic Dispatch Tags action bar, and select the “Delete” menu item in the drop-down menu to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Batch Delete

  1. Select one or more dynamic scheduler tags in the list of dynamic scheduler tags, and click the “Delete” button at the top of the page to bring up the operation confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

View dynamic tag details

This function is used to view the details of the scheduling tab.

  1. On the Dynamic Dispatch Tag page, click the Dynamic Dispatch Tag Name item to enter the Dynamic Dispatch Tag Details page.
  2. View the Cloud ID, ID, name, status, domain, item, enabled status, resource type, tag (scheduler tag), preference, condition, created at, updated at, and comment of the dynamic tag.

View operation log

This function is used to view the log information of the operations related to the dynamic tag.

  1. On the Dynamic Tags page, click the Dynamic Tags name item to enter the Dynamic Tags details page.
  2. Click the Operation Log tab to enter the Operation Log page.
    • Load more logs: In the Operation Log page, the list shows 20 operation logs by default. To view more operation logs, click the “Load more” button to get more logs.
    • View Log Details: Click the “View” button on the right column of the operation log to view the log details. Copy details are supported.
    • View logs of specified time period: If you want to view the operation logs of a certain time period, set the specific date in the start date and end date at the top right of the list to query the log information of the specified time period.
    • Export logs: Currently, only the logs displayed on this page are supported to be exported. Click the upper-right corner of icon, set the export data column in the pop-up export data dialog, and click the “OK” button to export the logs.
