Disks Trash
The host and disk files in the Trash are stored for 3 days by default, if there are mistakenly deleted host or disk files that need to be restored within 3 days, they can be restored to their original location, after 3 days, the files will be completely deleted.
Entry: In the cloud management platform, click the top left corner navigation menu, and click “Compute/Trash/Disks” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the disk trash list.
Erase
Once you have determined that the disk files in the Trash are useless, you can use the purge function to completely delete the files immediately.
Clear a single disk
- Click the “Erase” button to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
Batch Erase Hard Disk
- Select one or more disks in the disk Trash list and click the “Erase” button at the top of the list to bring up the operation confirmation dialog box.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
Recovery
When a disk has been deleted by mistake, you can use the recovery function in the Trash to restore it to its original location. Please make sure to recover the disk files within the valid period, if the files will not be recovered after the automatic erase time.
Recovering a single disk
- Click the “Recover” button to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
Batch recovery of disk
- Select one or more disks in the HDD Trash list and click the “Recover” button at the top of the list to bring up the operation confirmation dialog.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
