Proxy

Proxy is used to help OneCloud platform to access cloud platform which is not directly accessible due to network or other issues.

Proxy is used to help OneCloud platforms access cloud platforms that are not directly accessible due to network or other issues.

Usage scenarios.

  • Google Cloud needs to set up a proxy to access.
  • Ctyun Cloud needs to whitelist the accessed public IP in advance to access directly.
  • Other scenarios, such as OneCloud deployed in the intranet environment, need to access the public cloud platform on the external network through a proxy, etc.

Proxy usage rules.

  • When the cloud account does not set a proxy, it represents a direct connection to the network.
  • When the requested URL is https, the priority is to use https proxy, if the https proxy is not set, the http proxy is used.
  • In the rest of the cases, the http proxy is used.

Entry: In the cloud management platform, click the top left corner of navigation menu, and click “Multicloud/Accounts/Proxy” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the proxy page.
