Assignments
The policy assignment is to set the application scope for the policy, and the policy will take effect only in the application scope.
Policy assignment means setting the application scope for the policy, and the policy will take effect only within the application scope.
Description
- Only one policy of the same type can exist in the same application scope.
- When different policies are applied to items under global, domain, and domain at the same time, under the item, the application scope is for that item for the policy to take effect. Under other items under the domain, the policy with the application scope of that domain takes effect. Under other domains the policy with global scope will be applied.
Entry: In the cloud management platform click on the top left corner of navigation menu, and click “Settings/UI Policies/Assignments” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the Assignments page.
Delete Strategy Allocation
This function is used to delete the application scope of the policy, i.e. to unassign the policy.
- On the policy allocation page, click the “Delete” button in the action column on the right side of the policy to bring up the action confirmation dialog.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
View Policy Assignment Details
This function is used to view the details of the policies for which the application scope has been set.
- On the policy assignment page, click the policy name item to enter the policy details page.
- View the basic information of the policy, including Cloud ID, ID, name, policy type, policy definition, application scope, created at, and updated at.
View Operation Log
This function is used to view the operation log of the policy assignment.
- On the policy assignment page, click the policy name item to enter the policy assignment details page.
- Click the Operation Log tab to enter the Operation Log page.
- Load More Logs: In the Operation Logs page, the list shows 20 operation logs by default. To view more operation logs, click the “Load More” button to get more logs.
- View Log Details: Click the “View” button on the right column of the operation log to view the log details. Copy details are supported.
- View logs of specified time period: If you want to view the operation logs of a certain time period, set the specific date in the start date and end date at the top right of the list to query the log information of the specified time period.
- Export logs: Currently, only the logs displayed on this page are supported to be exported. Click the upper-right corner of icon, set the export data column in the pop-up export data dialog, and click the “OK” button to export the logs.
