Announcements

Announcements are used to post messages that need to be communicated to all users on the cloud management platform. When the announcement tile is set in the control panel, the latest created announcement will be displayed in the control panel.

Entry: In the cloud management platform click on the top left corner of navigation menu, and click “Settings/System/Announcements” menu item in the left menu bar that pops up to enter the Announcements page.

Create Announcement

This function is used to create an announcement message.

1. On the Announcement page, click the “Create” button at the top of the list to bring up the Create Announcement dialog box.
2. Enter the title and content, and click the “OK” button. The newly created feature will be displayed in the Announcement column.

Modify Announcement

This function is used to modify the announcement title and content. Modifying the announcement content will not change the created at of the announcement, i.e. modifying an old announcement will not be posted to the announcement bar.

1. On the announcement page, click the “Modify” button on the right action bar of the announcement to bring up the Modify Announcement dialog box.
2. Modify the title and content, and click the “OK” button.

Delete Announcement

This function is used to delete an announcement. On the Domain View, only announcements for the current domain can be deleted. Announcements with global scope can be deleted only in the System View.

Individual Delete

1. On the Announcement page, click the “Delete” button in the action column on the right side of the announcement to bring up the action confirmation dialog box.
2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.

Batch Delete

1. Select one or more announcements in the announcement list, and click the “Delete” button at the top of the list to bring up the operation confirmation dialog box.
2. Click the “OK” button to complete the operation.
